Excitement is building for the inaugural Future Facing Commodities Conference, to be held at the Raffles City Convention Centre Fairmont Hotel, Singapore, on April 5 & 6 of this year.
Hosted by Global Resource Connect Asia Pte Ltd, and operated by experienced conference and investor engagement organisations Vertical Events and Intlang and strongly supported by founding Major Sponsors Tribeca Investment Partners and Argonaut, the conference has successfully brought together leaders of Electric Vehicle and the critical minerals industry with the global capital markets – instantly making it one of the biggest resources conferences Singapore has hosted.
The theme of Future Facing Commodities is strongly resonating with the investors, who have registered for the conference in large numbers, as they look towards a cleaner future with less reliance on fossil fuels.
The conference will see over 100 companies from Australia, Canada, USA, UK and Asia descend on Singapore for two full days of keynotes, presentations, panel sessions and exhibitions.
Singapore and other Asian investors, including fund managers, institutional, family offices and local brokers are expected to mingle with the companies during the conference day and evening cocktail functions.
Global industry experts confirmed to provide keynotes include:
- John Stover - Portfolio Manager, Tribeca Investment Partners Singapore,
- Joe Lowry – President, Global Lithium,
- Dr Sonia Scarselli - Vice President, BHP Xplor,
- Mike Beare - General Director and Corporate Consultant (Mining Engineering), SRK
Consulting (Kazakhstan) and
- Edward Rigg - Executive Chairman & Head of ECM, Argonaut Limited.
There will also be several panel sessions on key topics such as Lithium, Rare Earths, Decarbonisation, South East Asia and Energy Transition technologies.
Uranium will also be featured with companies like Cameco Corporation, NexGen Energy, Global Atomic and Yellowcake plc.
Scott Clements, Head of Advisory Business from Major Sponsor, Tribeca, said that “Singapore has evolved into the Asian hub for international finance and investment, so a conference of this type is perfect for Singapore and the region. Ethical investment is now a reality”
